The Art of Burning Man 2019

Chris and I returned to Burning Man again in August of 2019. This was my second year and his fourth. The theme this year was “Metamorphoses”. The sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of Burning Man are pretty hard to describe, so I’ll just post a few of my favorite art pictures (all taken with my iphone):

  1. IT’s so hard to imagine these incredible structures/sculpures being created in the vast desert. It must be bloody hot during the day. Thanks for sharing!

    1. It’s pretty crazy to see them being built, and in some cases, see them burned just days later. Others are donated to cities or are brought back the following year. And yes- super hot!!

  2. HEY! My name is Dan and I am the artist for I.L.Y.. That picture is GREAT and features two very special humans that made that project possible. I was hoping I could acquire a higher res photo to send to them/have/frame a picture as a gift for them. I think you have my email in the details thingey. HOPE YOU HAD A GREAT BURN!

    1. I can send you what I’ve got. All my pics I took on my iPhone so they’re not the best but they’re still pretty cool. I took a couple of ILY so I’ll send them all to you.
