My name is Deah, and I love to travel. I wanted to travel the world so I found a job I could do while traveling: I became an international teacher in 2003. While teaching abroad for nine years, I lived in Haiti, Nicaragua, and then Africa. In 2014, my husband and I took a year off work, rented out our house, and traveled all of SE Asia. I started this blog in 2004 to make sure my mom always knew where I was in the world, and I’ve continued it as a way to keep track of where I’ve been, what I did, and how much I loved it. Feel free to use the categories or the search feature to look for a place you want to visit. Maybe the story of my travels there can help you in your next vacation!
